The Krocodile works great in summer and winter surf. Expect fish caught on the Kroc to be larger than usual. I tie them straight to my line and fan cast them up and down the beach. When targeting halibut they work especially well when used just after a grunion run. Halibut seem most active at slack tide periods on hour before and one hour after high or low tide. 5/8oz Has "J" hook and does not contain treble hook.
